Relive the best International Forgiveness Day Celebration ever!!!

 

The 13^th International Forgiveness Day (IFD) Celebration was a resounding moment in the history of the Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance.  There were over 500 people honoring our Heroes and Champion of Forgiveness on Sunday, August 2^nd, 2009.  It was a stellar evening with luminous personalities adding to the proceedings, led by radio talk show host, Peter B. Collins as our Master of Ceremonies.

Highlights of the DVD include:

 

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown presenting the Hero of Forgiveness award to Christopher Rodriguez, the young boy who was paralyzed by a random bullet as he was practicing piano.

 

Elwin Wilson, was honored as a Hero of Forgiveness for his courageous act of asking for forgiveness from Congressman John Lewis, whom he beat during a civil rights protest in the 1960s.

 

Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey presenting the Hero of Forgiveness award to Congressman John Lewis, for his life-long commitment and leadership in non-violence, forgiveness, reconciliation and peace.

 

Marianne Williamson was honored with the Champion of Forgiveness award for her continuing work in promoting forgiveness as the way to wholeness.

Dr. Fred Luskin spoke about everyday forgiveness that is available to each of us, even when standing in line at the market.

The evening was graced by the singing of Carmen Marie Coleman.
